Women hate competition.
Absolutely, and as these robots become more and more realistic in the decades to come, women - not just feminists - will be at the forefront of demanding that they be banned. They already are.
To: C19fan
You should see how vicious women get when they actually start fighting each other...
To: C19fan
In today’s world where the man is automatically guilty and practically needs a third party witness and a signed contract, particularly college campuses, a sex robot is a lot more safe than a biological woman.

This is actually why women hate prostitutes.

They say the dolls are dehumanizing, encourage violence against women Bzzzt, wrong. They're actually concerned that the increasingly realistic robots will eventually result the ignoring of women. And to women, nothing is more frightening than that.

Nope, nothing “dehumanizing and dangerous” about prostitution.

Wait until someone splices the brain DNA of a golden retriever into the body DNA of Christie Brinkley. The human race as we know it dies when those pets go on sale.

Offering your body for money is dehumanizing and dangerous.
To: Truth29
Yes. It is a very simple risk/reward consideration.

It’s really quite sad to read that, however on the other hand, there is an awful lot of truth in your statement.
To: Truth29
The movie “Cherry 2000” involved a man seeking spare parts for his sexbot/companion.
The scene in the night club where people negotiate the contracts for sexual encounters was a comic-horror at the time but may end up being prescient.

No one should be surprised at the automation of unskilled and semi-skilled labor.
