If, biiiiiig huge if, that actually happened as she says it did, THERE IS NO WAY THOSE FEW MINUTES DESTROYED HER LIFE. I can think of a few assaults I experienced like that by boys at a party or somewhere, when I was younger than she was, and it is not right, it’s not good, but they don’t destroy you. If it was actual rape, that is one thing. I’ll give her that. But it was guys pulling at her clothing without success. A drunk guy puts his hand on her mouth. They probably didn’t even have intent to rape. They were probably playing around. Most all boys school kids are doing such acts for each other; they aren’t going to rape her. She did not know that, but it was not attempted rape.

All of that is my commentary IF this happened as she said. I’ll believe her for now. But legally there is no proof and it’s been a couple years.

I do not think a high school drunken mishap should derail someone from the Supreme Court, even if it’s a leftist. Honestly. Too far back, and not serious enough. If some nominee was accused credibly of raping a 4 year old or murdering someone back in high school, we can talk. Confirm Kavanaugh but make him wear his toupee closer to his scalp. It bugs me.

I was literally punched in the face for saying no. It was in a car at night. I don’t even remember the guy who did it.
Yes it frightened me. I went home. I never forgot about it. I moved on. Married. 4 kids. 4 year degree. Couple of years from retirement now. Smh.

This is deliberate ploy on part of DEMS hoping to run out the clock before the election.

Was he a minor when this occurred? I.e., in HS under age of 18...Not sure if it makes any difference legally, but egads—she is saying she was afraid for her life?

Highly doubt it...

Lot of hyperbole going on, and very deliberate timing.

From the article:

Ford claimed she headed upstairs to a bathroom when she was suddenly pushed onto a bed, as rock-and-roll music blared.

However, Ford told The Post she did not recall exactly who owned the house, how she came to be at the house, or how the gathering was arranged. She remembered only that the house was in Montgomery County, near a country club, and that parents were not present.

So how does one get from the bathroom to being pushed on a bed? She was at an unchaperoned party...of her own choice...tho does not want to say...Sounds like she was drinking a lot if she does not remember where she was how she got from bathroom to bedroom, etc.... If this was such a seminal moment in her life, seems to me she would remember...I have a few very vivid high school memories and I remember where I was, who I was with and when...Sheesh...

I would like to hear Kavanaugh’s response...If indeed there is a story to tell, I suspect his side would be quite different!

A couple of years? Really? Gimme a break. Not surprised that YOU believe her.
