The State of California has the youngest and brightest minds working on how much gun powder is needed to launch a "go-pro" into orbit.. so far the states 13 and 14 year olds have been experimenting with larger and larger fireworks trying to launch “something” into orbit. So far over 20 teenage boys have been burned, lost fingers or have been hit by falling rocks and garbage cans they tried “blowing up”

Reminds me of the memoir of the NASA engineer (October Sky) They figured gunpowder would launch a rocket, only to be wrong and create an explosion.
