Months after being ordered by a federal judge to unblock of Twitter users, Donald Trump finally allowed dozens of previously blocked accounts to access his social media feed. Rosie O'Donnell was not among the lucky ones.
"Still unblocked," the comedian wrote in a Twitter post late Tuesday, adding that the president is a "coward" for continuing to block her on the social media site.
Trump's unblocking spree happened months after a federal judge ordered him to do so back in May. The judge stated that blocking people from accessing his account was a violation of the first amendment. Naomi Reice Buchwald, the judge presiding over the case, wrote that her ruling was based on the fact that Trump uses the account @realDonald Trump to take actions that can be taken only be the President as President.
The Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University filed the lawsuit resulting in the court ruling, and earlier this month sent a letter alerting the Justice Department that 41 Twitter accounts were still being blocked by the president. On Tuesday, Trump unblocked 20 of the users on that list. Previously blocked users include journalists, writers and political commentators.

Trump should say it was an algorithm of his.

You can say a lot of things about Donald Trump, but one thing he is NOT is a coward.
Rosie is just another sniveling slob.

“Still unblocked,”
Should that have been “still blocked”?
Why should he unblock her? It’s not like they’re bff. I wouldn’t have let her in in the first place.

Maybe I skimmed this too quickly and missed context, or maybe Rosie can't manage the abstract reasoning required to deal with a single application/layer of a negative?
Did she write "Still unblocked"?
Is she confused? It's not like this is a 3 layer negative concept like 'not unmeaningless.'
Either way, I guess Rosie is still not unmeaningless to Trump.

Trump's unblocking spree happened months after a federal judge ordered him to do so back in May. The judge stated that blocking people from accessing his account was a violation of the first amendment.
So... by that reasoning, Twitter should stop blocking or banning Conservative Tweeters.
Still, in a way, I think this may be a blessing in disguise. Let the lunatics say something that will get the FBI to come knocking at their door.

This appears to be a Newsweak fail. The article says “unblocked” but a screen shot of Rosie’s tweet says “blocked.”

I see, it’s a first amendment violation if somebody is blocked from President Trump, but Twitter can shut down anyone they choose and that’s not also a first amendment violation?

I believe if President Trump left Twitter and made his posts from an alternative platform, millions of Twitter subscribers would leave Twitter and follow him to the new platform. Due to the liberal bias of Twitter, the president is the only reason I have any interest in it in the first place.
