For the sake of everything normal Americans hold dear, for the sake of all that sane people believe in, this can’t be swept under the rug. Not when the egregious crimes assault our core principles and make us all feel unsafe.
The difference between the United States and any Third World crap-hole is that we have, since our inception, *always* been able to effect the peaceful transfer of power. Begrudgingly, perhaps, but nevertheless, peacefully.
What Comey and his merry band of personality disordered maggots have done strikes right at the root of how we hold this country together.
Fortunately, as libs are wont to do, they overshot the runway yet again. So, instead of sipping celebratory scotch, they lit exploding cigars.
President Trump absolutely, positively cannot let any of this go. It’s not really even his choice anymore. The are precious few things he could do to make his base turn on him. Behaving passively in the wake of an attempted coup would be one of them.
We came within a hair’s breadth of losing America.
So do I, however there is one problem. Who will be the US attorney to take charge of the case ? With Sessions recusing himself from all of this, it will be Rosenstein assigning the US attorney. Is it going to be somebody that is not fully committed and will go light on the presentation of evidence to a grand jury in order not to get an indictment ? Look at what Rosenstein did with the Southern District of New York. He forced the US attorney in charge to recuse himself from the Cohen case because he was appointed by Trump and that put a Hillary flunky assistant US attorney in charge.
DJT played his part and threw everyone on the left off, thinking they were going to walk into the sunset.
This is going to resemble the last five minutes of a God Father movie: everyone is getting whacked.
As soon as the primaries are over, right?

Like many here I have become very cynical. And I became cynical at a young age and long before I came to this forum.
In truth, few of us believed that Trump would win. But we did our duty anyway - we supported him, and voted for him. Then the “miracle” happened.
So you can continue to protect your emotions and your pride if you like (or need) to by saying, “I’ll believe it when it happens”. But I don’t see Trump letting this thing go.
Over two years ago I said I was totally prepared to be disappointed by Trump (like we all have been by other politicians) if he didn’t keep his grandiose promises. And here we are. So far he has actually delivered on things that almost no one thought was achievable.
Anyone here want to throw in the towel?
Anyone here want to accept defeat before the final battle is over?
There are a lot of reasons to be encouraged and to keep fighting.

No, he can’t. This is for all the marbles. The Left doesn’t give a rip that 63,000,000 people voted for this man. Listen to them. They hate us for depriving them of the power that is their due.
And it’s not even really President Trump that they hate. He’s just the largest target of it.
They hate us. They’ve come right out and said it to our faces. And they continue to say it almost every day.
We are racist, xenophobic, islamaphobic, mysoginist, transphobic, deplorable, smelly, Walmart shopping, low IQ, uneducated, sibling humping, rednecks who don’t even deserve to vote because we can’t be trusted to do it right.
So they’re using every single means at their disposal to stop us up to and including trying to kill us. There have been hundreds of well documented violent assaults on Trump supporters in the last two years.
So face it. It’s US that they hate. And they hate the political system that allows us a voice. So they’re trying to destroy it right in front of our eyes. If they get their grubby little paws on power again they’ll make damned sure we can’t ever do it again.
The Left hates you and wants you dead.
