I think it’s that that it was legal. I think the concern was that it wasn’t illegal, yet. Sooner or later some Third Word person would try to sell Cat &/or Dog for eating and it would end up going through the courts. And even worse, the treatments given these poor creatures before being killed is simply horrific. Glad someone with a semblance of sanity is thinking ahead.

Same here. I didn’t think it was legal anywhere, and it certainly should not have been legal anywhere, but priorities. The Iranians are still developing nucs. The muzzies are killing people everywhere, and the South Yorkshire (UK) police (and others) are arresting people for thought crimes.

I assume if it was not declared illegal it was a concept that nobody even thought about doing.

We are importing immigrants into the United States that love to eat cats and dogs. It was probably intended to head that off.

Isn’t diversity just grand?
