Well, you're just flat out wrong about that. Levin was despised around here for a long time, due to his anti-Trump tirades. As I said, he became so unwelcome, freeper Biggirl had to quit posting her nightly Levin Show thread.
Were you on the thread the last time he posted here? I was. He was a complete ass to one and all. Freepers challenged him on his nastiness toward Trump, and he basically told everyone here to go to hell.
Ask around, or do a search back to summer of 2016. Levin went on the warpath against Trump for months and months. It took him damn near a year after the election to finally come around.
If you missed all that, you simply weren't paying attention.
