I am currently battling a fungi living in my hair. Efforts to kill it are so far ineffective. I will revisit the dermatologist again next week

As a fungi man, can you post to the issue that fungi are the third kingdom in addition to plants and animals?

I couldn’t argue with that point. However, many fungi are beneficial while some are otherwise. Candida has a number of different strains, but are harmless unless conditions present to make it invasive in the body. That’s the short answer.

The term which may apply to you is “Systemic candidiasis” which describes a medical condition unacknowledged by medicine save for a condition in the blood. I now believe that Systemic candidiasis begins in the gut and spreads throughout the body, all the while flooding it with its byproduct of toxins.

I expended over 500 hours researching the topic to arrive at a treatment regimen for myself after encountering an endless supply of useless hyperbole, most particularly realizing that there are thousands - if not millions - of people out there frustrated that nothing works to rid them of the condition. My success thus far prompted the 2nd book to serve as a guide to those undertaking the process to help assure success and temper expectations (it took me over a year), but I recommend a naturopath to guide a person. I believe most people quit the “treatment” under the mistaken belief that it can be “cured” in a month or two; Candida is a very sneaky organism and tough to eradicate, but I did it will all-natural methods and sheer determination. In hindsight, I probably also had a scalp condition. But then again, I itched everywhere.

If you have not, I would recommend reading “The Yeast Connection” by Dr. William Crook and go from there. Dr. Crook was curing his patients 50 years ago, yet the AMA doesn’t acknowledge his work. In all likelihood you have a systemic condition prompting the fungal growth on your scalp. Body itchiness, athlete’s foot, jock itch & recurrent vaginal yeast infections are all clues, as is nasty body odor (among others, including slow healing).

Best of luck. If you do have the condition (likely), just know that there is hope; unfortunately it does not lie with the MD doctors...
