You wish you had a GAS stove?
Go to a sporting goods store and look at the COLEMAN propane camping stove. I kept the one from my boat and it has been a sanity saver through a couple of blizzard caused power outages.
They are SAFE, they are actually self-igniting (push ceramic starter), they are HOT enough to pan fry steaks.
All that is required is proper safe handling.

We had one for years. I’m 75 and in an apt.....I’ll just go to the rec center. Warm and free coffee....Yes!!
