More people were watching a crazy reality show such as Big Brother, instead of Miss America???
Has Miss America lost its mojo? Since they banned the swimsuit part of it, did that tank the ratings?
Actually watched MA last night and can tell you it was a PC/SJW lovefest. Many of the girls must have been chosen on some criteria other than beauty. It was probably a good thing there was no bathing suit competition, it wouldn’t have been pretty. Most of the questions were social ‘awareness’ in nature, i.e ‘How do you as MA intend to be relevant to under represented populations?’, ‘In todays highly charged, divisive political climate how can you help unite the country?’. The judges were 3 black women, one black man, one homosexual man and two white girls whose claim to fame is they are internet/Facebook stars. If destroying the pageant is Gretchen Carlson’s attempt at revenge against predatory men she is doing a bang up job. If it survives till next year I’ll be surprised.
For the record the final five consisted of two Black girls, one Hispanic girl, one mixed Asian/American and one white girl. One of the Black girls won with the Asian/American coming in second. No pretty blonde, white girls need apply.
