No we found him not guilty. The thing is I think he did it, but there was no way to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. There were multiple problems with the prosecution’s case. When the prosecution rested i remember thinking “wait, you can’t stop, you haven’t proved anything yet. If the standard had been a preponderance of evidence I would have voted guilty. I haven’t slept much the last two nights because i am afraid i put a child molester back on the street.
That is hard to think about. Wouldnt want to be in your position, sorry. You had to go with the evidence presented.
Don’t second guess yourself, you did exactly what you were supposed to do if prosecution failed to satisfy the burden. Think recent Manafort trial with jury hung on majority of counts & recent dumping of some perp’s headless body on judge’s doorstep. I may one day in life serve on a jury ... but likely not and so far not yet (they might find me opinionated lol)
