Well if all the cams are offline, and we have an EMT attack, can we discount solar flares as the cause? Conversely, if all the cams are offline, and we have a solar flare causing disturbance in the earth’s magnetic field, can we discount an EMT as the cause?

My guess is that you can never rule out solar flares. But if either of those things happens in the near term, I would guess human involvement.
