A "morality test" distributed to students at an Ohio high school -- featuring questions on topics like incest and puppy-killing -- has outraged parents and resulted in the teacher's suspension.
Sarah Gillam, a 35-year-old Language Arts instructor at Hilliard Bradley High School, was placed on paid administrative leave pending the results of an internal investigation, the Columbus Dispatch reported.
Last night, we were made aware of a classroom activity that should never have taken place, school district officials said in a statement obtained by the paper. We absolutely share the outrage of our parents and community...

“Sarah Gillam, a 35-year-old Language Arts instructor....”
Is she a cunning linguist?
Agree. Maybe the real problem is she was pushing the pronoun “xi” and teaching the noun “front hole.”
I think people objected to the incest question because it presented incest as an actual choice that teens might voluntarily make, thereby giving the choice a degree of respectability.
Did you read the article you posted?
she can see which students are relativists, subjectivists, and situational ethicists, and thus candidates for leftardism ethics
Well to begin with “Language Arts” is not the study of ethics. Secondly, What do you think the school does with answers to such exercises? Just file them away? I doubt it.
My daughter’s H.S. biology teacher tried the same kind of thing about abortion (and not from a biology/anatomy standpoint). I shut that down very quickly. If the school wants to teach ethics then have a class for it.
What is the purpose of this?
Youre kidding right?
They are seeking out sociopaths. It is part of the MB data collection. No child in that class signed up to be psychologically evaluated
How about teaching English. Not a one of these children agreed to be psychologically evaluated
“They’re just questions, Leon. In answer to your query, they’re written down for me. It’s a test, designed to provoke an emotional response... Shall we continue?”
They should not have called it a “morality test”.
Other than the fact that those questions are stupid and don’t actually tell you anything about the person, nothing. The parents are right, only messed up people are asking people those questions, especially en mas.
No. Because people can lie. She’ll see nothing. Meanwhile the fact that she wants to ask those questions of a bunch of teenagers shows she’s got issues.
This was a test to see who is actually falling down the rabbit hole. Gaging to see who can tolerate what level of depravity. Not only does the teacher need to be fired, there should be an investigation into what is in the teacher’s Planning Guide. Many of them are put out by NEA groups that are always pushing the envelope and wanting to see where the weakest links in society are at a place in time. Think of it as a prelude to: Who in your family do you think really doesn’t justify eating and breathing? It’s only a hop, skip, and a jump away....

Interesting bit about a name change, and more details...
I went through it several times. what name change? My poor old tired eyes must have skipped over it multiple times.
But she'll given a paid vacation at "parents and community" expense, nevertheless...
It’s unrelated to the teaching of Language Arts, or what we used to call “reading” and “writing.”
If they are just questions maybe they should actually be about the subject the students are enrolled in.
The gay agenda that has invaded the school system is unrelenting and infects every discipline, I know that for a fact, most parents don't.
