That old saw

*yawn*

Yeah, you are the FIRST to ever make that joke.

You should probably stop.

You really are getting owned here.

You want me to stop.
I’ll stop.

Fact is I don’t care what you watch.

Thank you for posting Berlin - what are you watching matches on primarily?

I started YouTube TV for World Cup play, but I'm not seeing EUFA matches here. I was an early adopter of Fubo, but the service was awful so I cancelled.

All I know is, that the USMNT still sucks.

CONCACAF has their own Nations League starting next year.

Eventually, I think all the Federations will have something like that, and then all the winners will play each other to determine the World Nations League champion.

It may not have been the best idea to start it the year right after the World Cup. But I do like the idea that at least it does away with meaningless friendly matches.

It’s always thorny though when you have games in the middle of the domestic season. I know Euro and World Cup Qualifiers also happen during the season, but there are a lot more games, so losing one game during that, probably won’t hurt too much.

But lose one game here, and it pretty much kills your chances. But still, will the elite players care enough about it?

England play Spain on Saturday and the heavyweight clashes continue a day later as France face the Netherlands and Wales take on Denmark, who reached the last 16 of the World Cup.

Sounds like there's a few matches being played today.

The irony, though, is that the world’s most populous countries aren’t very good at it...

The four most populous countries: India, China, the United States, and Indonesia, all failed to make the World Cup, and the US is the only one of the four, who has even ever qualified for it.

Association Football (Soccer) - 4 Billion Fans. Association football, or soccer, is the most popular sport in the world.

One big reason is that the fans watching can easily project themselves into the game and feel as if they are actually on the field playing. They can see where the play should move and the pass be made. Even watching the small screen at home the instinct to kick the ball presents itself. Watch fans feet sometimes as they are drawn right into the action just as spectators. It becomes a compulsion. No time outs. No commercials to break momentum. Two hours and you are on the road. Oh, BTW no kneeling in protest before the games either.

German games are alternately shown on two big public TV channels here. Otherwise I pirate.

The Elites will want another trophy. Won’t ever get that from a friendly.

I am always amused that I played lots of basketball but never enjoyed watching it and nerver played soccer but do enjoy watching. But that’s me.

What was the movie with Peter Sellers... “I like to watch”.

TY - broadcasters have made it incredibly difficult to find a source to view matches with any regularity. Cheers!

England got hosed.

But that game made me a believer, I think I’m on board with the Nations League, a normal friendly wouldn’t have been that good.
