Pence is/was? best buds with Flake, very close to Ryan. IMO, very Deep State. Whether he is or is not the DS plant is anyone’s guess. He may be laying low for 6 more years and slide into the Presidency on Trump’s “coat tails”, like Bush did with Reagan.

I’ve had similar thoughts at times, I confess.

However:

Trump is unfailingly complimentary to Pence and genuinely seems to like him strongly. Surely he (DJT) knows/knew how important a VP would be. Surely he chose carefully. He has an uncanny ability to read people, I believe. Surely he chose well for that spot.

Praying for the best outcome in all things, and in particular this one!

Would the white hats not know the identity of the supposed author? “We have it all.”

Surely the VP was vetted by the white hats.

I seriously doubt anyone as intelligent, with access to intel, and all his other qualities that make him The Best President Ever, would choose a bad veep either from lack of knowledge or pressure.

In Pence’s favor, he was very helpful in Trump winning Indiana. He had already committed to Cruz, but he came out with some really nice statements about Trump that I think help a lot at crunch time. That, and Bobby Knight made a big difference. And Indiana was crucial to the big roll that Trump went on after that to close it out. And after Trump had it locked up, Pence didn’t play that game with the delegates, he was all in. That gave Trump a lot of cred with heartland conservatives, and played a big role. So, Pence has been a part of this movement, and I would hate to think he would be so stupid as to be a traitor.

Has he thought about being President if Trump goes down? I am sure he has. Has he thought about helping that come about? I doubt it. But I don’t know the man or his heart, so it’s all based on impressions and what I’ve read.

POTUS told us he chose Pence because he needed someone that was familiar with D.C. who “knew the ropes” and would help him in that regard. AFAIK, Pence has fulfilled that role.

I have no doubt that he is very genuine in his appreciation and affection for his VP. But as we have found with others formerly around him (ex. Omarosa, Priebus), often they serve the DS more than their allegiance to POTUS. One can tell much about a person by who his friends are. For Pence to be close buds with Flake, Ryan, and other DS’rs tells me he is probably DS....but who knows.... I guess time will tell. Yes, many many prayers for the best outcome : )
