It was no love fest. It was just as McCain would have wanted: bitter and lashing out at Trump for who knows what. Probably because his Syrian jihadists are no longer being armed and funded to kill Christians.

Several years ago, Neil Boortz said that we could survive four more years of Obama, but not four more years of Obama supporters.

McCain was another one of those politicians whose supporters are even worse than he was.

Trump got points. Maybe not poll points but class points for sure. The petty bitter gang also exposed themselves as the small-minded louts they are.

Do they even do approval polls on holiday weekends?

McCain forgot chain of command. He may have hated Trump, but Donald Trump was his commander in chief. Donald Trump was the leader of his country and should’ve been supportive in every way. Instead, John McCain’s struck at him whenever the opportunity presented itself. This will forever be his legacy.

People who support Trump HATE McInsane, and that includes the feeble-minded Q-tip crowd in Arizona that voted for McInsane but not Trump.

Over 100,000 more Q-tips voted for McInsane but not for Trump in 2016.

It won’t be over for weeks.

Next, it goes to Russia for a week, then Vietnam, where he will be interred.

These, too, will be on world-wide television, around the clock.

John McCain is now at the eternal home of his choosing. His ability to influence the political landscape on Earth is over. Anyone who truly loved the man would be better served praying for his soul than making a political spectacle of themselves, after all our time here is short and is only meaningful in the extent that we demonstrate God’s love for us. May God Bless his soul and may his family turn to Christ.

mccain, being basically a loser his entire life, was especially enraged at President Trump’s easy presidential election win.

If, as they say, mccain planned his own funeral, then it was an accurate portrayal of his years in office. Huge ego, petty nastiness.

They’re saying on the news this morning that he’s going into the midterms with the lowest approval rating since 1930 something.

The politicizing of the funeral shows just how desperate the left is, and it showed how tacky McCain and his family and some of our "leaders," such as George W. Bush and Obama, are.

I think many of the media and oratory statements were disgusting. As a long-time cleric put it, “praise them and bury them!” ... don’t abuse the occasion for political campaigning

Disgusting!

and since he wasn’t invited, president DJT did exactly the right things by issuing a good little statement, lowering the flag as provided by law, and moving on

For a time, McCain sported the mantle of “Lion of the Senate”, deserved, or not.

All those fawning over him either want to take his place, or know someone who does. So, they have to get McCain’s “fans” to like them, and help promote that end.

Does anyone really think that Trump had a remote thought of his “approval status” for providing AF2 to transport McCain? With what the McCain family, and cronies have been saying about Trump, how could he even think it would get him points with anyone - especially the media.

Wasn’t it Michael Obama (Michelle) who said, “They take the low road, we take the high road.”? Well, two can play at that game.

Remember, if it hadn’t be notable, it wouldn’t have made the news.

Do you think the Soviets had over-the-top political funerals?

Well America’s own ruling Uniparty has entered the same territory.

McCain was entitled to a proper funeral, with the respect and trappings of a career military officer and a United States Senator. But, this production, planned and designed by the Senator himself was a broadside against the sitting President and a propaganda tour de force. The press were full on board and spoke their assigned lines enthusiastically. The refrain, shouted every half hour or so was to point out that Mr. Trump was absent. No one from one of the news divisions, including Fox, mentioned that Trump was not invited. The Fox morning crowd told their audience that he had been deliberately snubbed, but the professional journalists did not.

In the end this was overdone and went way beyond McCain to make it a Nuremburger Rally for the Deep State Resistance. Leni Riefenstahl would have produced the whole thing except that she has been dead these many years. I believe that McCain intended this to push the coup across the goal line through the midterm election and then the impeachment where the message for all would be that the Deep State are in charge for perpetuity and the silly voters will be told to go back to their corners and color.

This had all the trappings of the death of a dictator, with extravagant pomp and mandated attendance to fatten crowd size. Interestingly, we attended two large gatherings last week, and no one mentioned the double-header funerals staged by the media for their enjoyment.
