My bad.
I knew Hil made it to Aretha’s funeral. I remember a TV glimpse showing her and Bill there, sitting separately. He was on stage next to Sharpton and Farrakhan, she was in a front row offstage.
And, I remember a link to a video showing her stumbling up the three steps to the stage while supported by two helpers.
My mistake was not realizing that the McCain funeral went on... and on... for the better part of a week, so the Clintons were able to take in both. And, while the Obamas, GWB, and “the Meg’s” digs at Trump were well publicized, I didn’t catch references to Clinton action at the McCain extravaganza (necro-ganza?).
I guess I didn’t watch enough TV!. But, Hillary’s presence would explain Huma’s, wouldn’t it? Especially if she had a message to deliver.
