Oh, I listened to it for decades until last year. Id had it with the morning show liberals who replaced Don Wade and Roma. Now, I stream Chicagos AM 560 The Answer from Texas in the mornings and catch Rush on 24/7 or locally.
WLS was simply a great station. I remember listening to it while detasseling corn as a 14 year-old. Then, in the late evenings, listening to Phyllis Levy with her Sex Talk. Roe Conn was good for a number of years but best with with his first partner (Steve?), who was lost with a demand of too much money for his contract, as I recalled.

Detasseling corn? I haven’t heard that phrase in years.
Grew up in the Corn Belt. Although born in Chicago, I grew up on an Illinois farm two miles from the Indiana border.
Where were you detasseling?
