I TOLD BILL GATES, "MY SON IS THE CEO OF THE WORLD BANK." BILL GATES SAID, "OK."

I CALLED THE PRESIDENT OF WORLD BANK AND ASKED HIM TO MAKE MY SON THE CEO. HE SAID, "NO."

I TOLD HIM, "MY SON IS BILL GATES' SON-IN-LAW." HE SAID, "OK." '

AND THAT'S EXACTLY HOW POLITICS WORKS.

And thus began the practice of hiring dumb asses to work in influential positions of government . The practice is unbroken to this day.

Why did you repeat the joke, but then go and spoil the punchline?!

It should read "My son is Bill Gates' son-in-law!"

Still would think twice about being Bill Gates’ son-in-law. The daughters are definitely not-guilty - don’t get me wrong. But you’re also marrying the parents.

I agree with you. I can only take these politicians and crooks, but then I repeat myself, for just so long. It's exhausting trying to keep up with The Swamp, the Deep Staters, Q'ers, the exploding head messes on democRATic Underground, FR and my favorite tractor repair forums online.
