I actually like the savory ones - a little meal with lots of different tiny bites, to tide one over until the late dinner. It was probably a lot healthier than what we now call ‘Happy Hour’.
But the clotted cream and jam look very nice for a mid-morning pick-me-up.
(Assuming, of course, that one limits one’s indulgence all around ;-)
