I love that channel. I’ve wanted to make the creme fraise, but it’s hard to find the unpasteurized cream. You have to get organic, and even then it’s ultra pasteurized any more.

I guess around here if I wanted unpasteurized anything, I’d make friends with a dairy farmer. Are there many Amish in Michigan?

In CA you can get Organic Pastures raw cream. It’s pricy. I made ice cream with it (combining with raw milk to cheapen it up slightly). It’s delicious. My daughter can’t digest pasteurized milk and ice cream (neither can I but I don’t try) so I wanted to try raw ice cream. It’s not really raw any more if you make the custard.

If you have any Amish farmers within driveable distance, you can get their straight-from-the-cow milk.
