I'm not sure about that. ObamaCare basically screws younger people (who tend to be Democrats) on behalf of older people (who are the core of the GOP's support).

Repealing ObamaCare would be a political disaster for the GOP. You'll find plenty of evidence for that right here on FR -- where most of ObamaCare's provisions are very popular.

Exactly, their willingness to allow Senators like McCain, Susan Collins, Flake et al to control the party and push it to the Dem Lite position really hurt the party.

"Incompetence" is the wrong word. We have been conned. The GOP is part of the Washington establishment and they just pretend to be conservative.

You already know what I have to say about the Washington Establishment, how it started, and who is currently behind it.

The goal of the establishment is to keep the money spending party going and anything which causes government to spend more money, is just fine with it.

I'll add that the media is liberal precisely because this works in the direction of increasing Washington spending.
