Hogans Heroes! Some freeper mentioned the episodes are on youtube, so I’ve been watching one or two now and then. Yes - “Heavy Water” from Norway. Hogan gets Klink to believe it is water from the fountain of youth, and Klink starts sneaking drinks!
People are so psychotic these days (and Leftards especially) that they actually believe conspiracies abound regarding diet & exercise as a “White Thing”.
What kind of dummy eats fast food their entire adult life without realizing that you’re slowly killing yourself?
And then complains about the solutions or alternatives as “racist”?
Yes, it was me that discovered Hogan’s Heroes on YouTube and mentioned it here. Every episode in its entirety!
So many Africans want a Western education. Isn't that way immigrants come here -- for more opportunities?
A lot of the hostility seems to come from distorted thinking. I used to have a negative view of materialism, maybe because of growing up in a dysfunctional home. I went through the "spiritual rebel" in my younger days. Now I realize that, in moderation, there is no conflict, only normality.
Artfully, the article doesn't provide us with a photo of her. Very likely for the reasons you listed. I see the majority of blacks at grocery stores buying pre-made packaged food instead of raw ingredients. Their grocery carts are full of cakes, non-diet sodas, bread, etc. Why are the vast majority of Popeyes Fried Chicken stores in ghetto areas? I've never seen one in a predominantly white area. I saw that black kids in the school cafeteria made high carb food choices and rarely, if ever, got salad or veggies on their tray. So lady, don't complain to me that "white people" are responsible for your rear end that's so huge, it has its own zip code.
“Natalie Webb, another registered dietician and nutritionist in the D.C. area who is also black...”
The article also has some comments by Erica Bright. I’m surprised they allowed people with “white folk’s names” into the article.
“Bridges is a 45-year-old nuclear chemist who lives in the D.C. area.”
And even people with “white folk’s jobs” are interviewed!
Does this Big Mac make my black ass look big?
Bet ya haven’t tried the vegan soul food promoted in the article. And neither have the vast majority of black folks.
Hey, tanishia. You want to eat healthy, eat whatever the hell you want. Why drag me into it if I like Caesar salad. And don’t be telling me I can’t eat watermelon or rib tips, either.
Much of the “white food” mentioned in the article is actually “liberal food.”
As someone with a chronic illness who has 17 health care providers (most, thank God, whom I have to see less than once per year at this point), a healthy diet is vital for me if I hope to have a chance to live to a ripe old age. And I follow scrupulously my doctors’ and nutritionist’s recommendation.
But I don’t ever remember eating candied walnuts or pickled onions. I don’t eat Brussels slaw, drink kale juice, or “hydrogen-infused” water. Nothing made from chia seeds. Or acai or goji berries.
I eat a modest diet comprising fresh meat, dairy, and eggs, fresh vegetables and salads, fresh fruit, high-fiber bread and pasta, rice, beans, lentils, and other legumes. I make my own (rapturous) pasta sauce (with lots of good red wine). I mostly drink water, black coffee, and iced tea (unsweetened). And a glass of wine a couple of times per week.
Mainly, I’m told to eat a balanced diet, keep my calories in check, avoid processed foods, especially processed meats, keep sodium low, and don’t go out to eat too often.
But dontcha know, dat’s cuz inner cities are “nutritional deserts.” Yep. Mo’ racism. See, da white man gonna keep the Bruthas down by feedin’ him aw dis killuh food and keepin’ da healfy sto’s from openin’ up shop in da hood.
Watch out! I’ve heard that stuff is poison!
;-)
Grilled or smoked chicken with a nice vinegar based BBQ sauce and collard greens make a very healthy meal. Lose the mashed potatoes, bread and other carbs.
Want yams? Cut them into wedges, toss with canola oil, salt and pepper and bake. Really tasty. Full of fiber and healthier than white potatoes.
So, how come these nutritionists don't explain how soul food can be made into a very healthy meal?
How incredibly ridiculous.
Silly woman.
It's white!
This obsession with race is the reason for the poor health. Start thinking like a normal person and youll be healthy.
If someone added brown food dye to cottage cheese, would it sell? Market it as “Kenyan Cottage Cheese”!
Years ago, my Mom said she liked French food.
My Dad looked at her and replied, “You like food from every country in the world!”
My Mom paused, thought, and replied, “Guilty as charged!”
Yeah many take it as an insult if you don’t get a second helping.
Liberal insanity ... healthy eating is now bigotry.
Nor do they discuss things like rice and beans, fresh seasonal fruit and collard greens as cheap healthy eating.
