I did the Christian approach and didn’t hit back. When I finally did, years later, I dropped the upperclassman bully, breaking his glasses and forcing him to the floor.
I wasn’t bullied after that, but this guy as an adult glared at me the rare times we passed each other in our cars.

A 10-year-old boy who needed hospital treatment after being beaten up by bullies, refused to fight back because “it’s not the Jedi way”, his mother said.
I don't remember Luke Skywalker refusing to fight back when Darth Vader attacked him in 'The Empire Strikes Back'. Anyway, that was the movies - in real life, you either stand up to bullies or you stay bullied.

This is one of the reasons liberalism is a mental illness. I constantly see them basing decisions and beliefs on fictional characters. I had one try to convince me that his opinion was correct because Mr. Spock shared his belief.
