I’m a darn good cook in my own reality. 2 things I learned while I lived in the Permian Basin:
1. How to BBQ a whole brisket (almost a full 24hrs!)
2. How to make a pecan pie
Both from the old Tejano on the block.

We first met when she knocked on the door wanting to harvest my piquine plant (that I had not noticed). We split the gains that year and she taught me West Texas cooking. I still have the chili powder, which I treat like platinum.

Just can’t beat a briskit done right. CPDiii does ours for the shoot and he knows how it’s done too :)
