“I doubt very much that the overwhelming number of voters (ALL) in the state of Florida will take kindly to the politics and agenda of Democrat, Andrew Gillum.”

I know the Cubans there didn’t come to Florida for more of this crap. Nice to see the Dems helping Scott win that Senate seat, by dragging down the gov ticket.

Watched a local report that showed that 99% of people who showed up for a rally of his were....dah-dah...WHITE WOMEN. Same idiots who gave us Obozo.

Yes, I have a comment.

A good opinion author assumes the reader knows little-to-nothing about the matter at hand.

I am such a reader. I know little-to-nothing about Gillum’s positions, especially as to how they would turn Florida voters off.

Please elaborate; assume I know nothing.

Never underestimate the stupidity of democrat voters who believe in the power to impose soul and country-killing rules and regulations to maintain seats and control how people live, work, think and believe.

The rich, middle and poor are riddled with true believers who want nothing more than to follow lemming-style some ideologue simply because they cannot bear to be different.

I believe that you are correct, and that the media “celebrating” this are really wrong to celebrate.

I don’t know what the numbers add up to in Florida as far as the differences between Dem’s and Republicans and the voting tallies. But, I’m thinking that, if they show up and vote, the large number of Puerto Rican’s that have no intention of ever going back to their island will have no problem hitting the button or pulling the lever for anyone associating themselves with the Democratic Party. A Puerto Rican community organizer will rile them up and tell them that DeSantis is going to send them all back and take away all their benefits, and they’ll show up in droves and vote more than once with someone elses ID. Toss in some Northern liberals and it may not be that easy for DeSantis.

Ron DeSantis problem will be donors not contributing because he is seen as a shoo-in. It is hard to see how he loses, but it is FL.

The Democrats that chose him in their primary have made a politically unwise choice.

Disagree 100%! They made the perfect political choice, as commies represent their true ideologies without the bother of actually going to present/former communist countries and seeing the aftermath of their stupid ideas!

DeSantis draws 913,679 votes, or 56.5% of 1.6 something million.
Gillum draws 517,417 votes, or 34.3% of 1.5 million.

2/3 of Dems wanted someone else. A strong candidacy this does not make. Gillum might help Dems turnout among AA’s, and white leftist women. Will not be enough.

Dems will be desperate for a scandal to ruin DeSantis. Reps should be looking for Gillum’s transgressions, and not be afraid to use them.

Florida Democrat Andrew Gillum could render Democrat Party ineffective in Florida.

From your keyboard to God's eyes.

I doubt very much that the overwhelming number of voters (ALL) in the state of Florida will take kindly to the politics and agenda of Democrat, Andrew Gillum.

He doesn't need an overwhelming number of voters, just more voters than DeSantis. Florida went for Obama twice; electing Gillum isn't outside the realm of possibility.
