I don’t know what the numbers add up to in Florida as far as the differences between Dem’s and Republicans and the voting tallies. But, I’m thinking that, if they show up and vote, the large number of Puerto Rican’s that have no intention of ever going back to their island will have no problem hitting the button or pulling the lever for anyone associating themselves with the Democratic Party. A Puerto Rican community organizer will rile them up and tell them that DeSantis is going to send them all back and take away all their benefits, and they’ll show up in droves and vote more than once with someone elses ID. Toss in some Northern liberals and it may not be that easy for DeSantis.
I agree.
Though the GOP dodged a bullet (Graham would have been a stronger candidate) when Gillum was nominated, it’s not a gimme race.
Throw together this bloc (white suburban soccer moms, condo commie expats from the Northeast, blacks, most Hispanics, millenials, etc) and Gillum could make a race of this.
