I agree. They ‘might’ actually have to think and might learn something. Many liberals have been converted after having been exposed to critical thinking. That is why lib leaders try so hard to silence us.
Over at DU they enforce a couple of rules to ensure that liberal doctrinaire is not challenged. I know this because I lurk over there from time to time. One rule is "don't bash Democratic public figures." If someone were to post something like, "Hillary Clinton's campaign was handicapped by her general untrustworthiness and whiff of corruption that has always surrounded the Clintons" this post would be flagged and removed for violating the previous rule.
A second rule is "don't post Republican talking points." So something like, "The Mueller investigation is failing to find any evidence of Russian collusion and at this time appears to be fishing for process crimes" would again be flagged and removed for violating rules.
The funny thing is both comments are perfectly reasonable and true but they must be removed because there is no defense against them. DU utilizes these two rules as "catch-alls" to ensure liberal ideas go unchallenged and people aren't exposed to criticism. Liberalism CANNOT stand up to scrutiny! It falls apart always. That's why DU enforces these rules to squash criticism and this is why Twitter is kicking off conservatives one after the next.
Personally, I think it would be great if Jim let DUers post over here. Without the protection of their safe spaces and rules prohibiting debate, they'd see their ideas get challenged and dissected.
