The television-news media desperately need to fill twenty-four hours every day in order to sell advertising to support their stations, their management, their employees, and their negotiated settlements and non-disclosure-agreement pay-outs to women whom they must silence after one or another of their male employees has violated them. CBS has had Charlie Rose. NBC Matt Lauer. With too much money, too much perceived power, many intelligent media-attractive women who benefit further from the daily efforts of world-class aestheticians and make-up artists, the ingredients are there. Certainly Fox News has had their share of pay-outs, too. And the thing is, we have no idea how many others also are being paid to shut up. So the television-news media have to keep the money pouring in. Same with the print media.
Would you watch TV news 24/7 to get the latest commodities reports on oranges? For how many hours daily? Unless you deal in oranges, probably not a whole bunch. How about “sweet crude oil” futures? It would have to be pretty sweet, indeed, to keep your attention. I am an Orthodox rabbi, and I cannot remember the last time I put down a volume of the Talmud to keep abreast of the latest prices on pork bellies.
So they have to figure out how to keep the ratings up.

Even if the Democrats miraculously grab the Senate in November, there still would be at least 48 Republicans in the Senate. The Democrats would need to get 15-20 Republican Senators to vote with them to oust President Trump. Any Republican Senator who would vote that way would be signing his or her political death warrant — the end of his or her political career. They all know it. Therefore none of them would do it.

I like Levin but I wouldn’t bet the house on that. Republican’s - especially Trump - are held to a different standard than Democrats. Levin knows that.
The President of the United States can be impeached for ANYTHING. It's a political process, not a legal one.

Yep. If they were primarily interested in ratings, NBC/ABC/CBS/MSNBC/CNN would not all be clumped together on the Left ceding the entire right side of the field to Fox. Some adult would have fired everybody, moved the HQ out of New York City, radically altered course and started competing with Fox for all the viewers on the right side of the political spectrum. But they don’t do it. They consciously choose to get crappy ratings and lose money in the name of their political ideology.

The media wants the White House, not planning to keep Mike Pence in it. Their paycheck sources and all of the other commies involved probably think they have a way to make a double impeachment of the pres and vice pres and get it over with. They are all out in the open now and are like salivating mad hound dogs, too crazed with lust for power and privilege they cannot think even a little straight, let alone logically.I would hate to have to work or live with or around any one of them.

Well, if the focused on investigating and reporting the truth, that would be a start. But noooooooo! that is one place they will not go.
If the Democrats win the House, they will bring articles of impeachment. Simple as that. The Democrats have shown that they no longer care if there is really anything to impeach Trump about, they will simply do so because this is what they will always do to every GOP president from now until doomsday. The milk-sops of the GOP had better be prepared to do the same thing when it’s their turn.

The Constitution defines impeachment at the federal level and limits impeachment to "The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States" who may be impeached and removed only for "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors".
Show me any of the above that Pres. Trump has done. He may have not paid a parking ticket.
Think impeachment as an indictment like a local charge of a crime. Billy-boy was impeached by the House of Reps for lying in a deposition, but not prosecuted in the Senate due to their lack of guts.
No matter how many of Trump's associates have been entrapped (easily done by re-phrasing an answer) for perjury by the FBI or broke other laws on their own, it has nothing to do with this stupid Russian Collusion investigation. By the way, collusion is not illegal.
Every Trump associate that is pleading out is because they were too stupid not to talk to the biased Mueller witch hunt. General Lynn is the worst case. But then, how long can you afford lawyers?
Always, always, remember when Hillary was questioned by the FBI regarding her illegal home server and classified e-mails, there were no sound recordings, no videos, no notes taken. And yet, Mannafort, Cohen, and others allowed it.
