“It is different than putting up a sign saying you have a dog in the back yard that will bite.”

A while back, we had one of those signs even when we didn’t have a dog.

If a passer-by asked about the dog, I’d holler, “CUJO!”, and then wait a moment and say, “Oh, that’s right. Cujo is at the vet.”

Just put out a huge dog bowl with a moose femur in it.

I’ve got the beware of dog signs also. At 20lbs she’s not much of a threat but before they see her it does make them nervous.

If they make a comment about the sign and the small dog I tell them the one in the basement is the one that’s dangerous.
