It’s a 45 min drive one way to get gas with no ethanol. Its about a dime higher and I have to get a fuel card from a small oil company and buy a minimum per month. I could live with about 5 gal a month, but I just don’t think it’s worth it. I’ve checked every station in my town and all have ethanol.

Don’t know where you live, but have you tried this?

https://www.pure-gas.org/

Helps you locate stations that have real gas.

I use aviation gas. Can’t use it in your car it has too much lead for the converter. But it is alcohol free. Stores over winter too.

I live in rural NW Alabama.

There are at least 8 outlets within 20 miles of my home that sell 100% gasoline, from a pump that looks the same as the pumps that dispense ethanol.

It simply has different markings and price calculators.

I buy 55 gallons twice a year, for my lawn care needs and my emergency gasoline stash.

I further treat it with Sta-bil, but I could probably get away without using it with 100% gasoline.

Yes, it costs more.

It's worth it, but not to the point of using it exclusively in my car/truck, since both were modern engineered to use ethanol.

If it were up to me, we'd dump all that ethanol crap.
