First, Patraeus shouldn't be saying a damn thing about anything, as he's lucky he didn't go to prison and he was in the Chain of Command that let Benghazi happen. I digress.

Second, The President should get the list and then cancel the clearances of everyone on it. Then issue an executive order that says, when you leave government service, your clearance is suspended. Additionally, you will be ineligible for a clearance, for a minimum of 5 years from your date of departure from government service, unless your need for such clearance is a matter of national security(ie you are called back into service of the USA). Employment with a government contractor can allow a waiver from this order, however, the "need to know" will be narrowly focused and any violations will initiate the immediate revocation of clearances and contracts from all parties, both to the individual(s) and business entities involved.

So, when all these clowns get out and get recruited by the various defense contractors and other contracting companies, they can't parlay those clearances into cash money and then run around bashing the President with information they don't need to know.

They're all gonna swing.

We'll ask them if they want their own DC cherry tree, or do they want to share.

I think we’ve identified the problem. Or, to be more exact, the problem has identified themselves for us.

Now that the whole issue about security clearance is in the highlights, it makes me wonder & marvel just how the difference between those who are political connected vs us little people. Those former Cia chiefs still have clearances & how & why?

So, do all those yahoos have security clearances?

If so, then yank them. Yank them so good that they will rue the day they wrote that condemnation.

Why is Petraeus talking about stripping? He debriefed his own biographer, and vice versa.

This is an unceasing, unending war on Trump by the deep state scum-bags who have hijacked the government. Every time Trump exposes them 50 more lickspittles jump on top of him.

My advice for the president: get All the documents about this plot to overthrow you declassified & made public....soon. Until the public grasps the enormity of this plot Trump is going to be at a disadvantage.

This is dreadful beyond words. We are living through a coup d etat & it is not finished. They want him out of office & they will never let up until they are fully exposed.

So take all their security clearances. Mass expulsion from seeing sensitive documents.

I wish republicans would stick together like these swamp dwellers.

Are they good at protecting their privileges or what?

Met Patraeus during the Iraqi war and thought the world of him. Boy was I wrong.

He’s disappointed me ever since. This is worse than the affair.

Betrayus....nuff said.

Petraeus retired from the Army on 31 August 2011. Benghazi didn't happen until 11 September 2012, by which time Petraeus was DCI. DCI is not in the chain of command.

That said, it's amusing what pops up when you google his indiscreet girlfriend's name.

The Deep State is disposable! Throw them all under the bus!

I think it’s becoming clear with only a few exceptions our entire government is hopelessly corrupt and has been that way for some time.

The DC Polituro has spoken! The fact that those guys cannot recognize a Saudi compromised communist traitor who lead a coup attempt as a security risk tells me how things like 9/11, Boston, Fort Hood, the Pulse, San Bernadino, the undetected collapse of the USSR, etc all happened.

Equal parts incompetence and treason.
