In recent days the Tony Podesta 65th Birthday Party pictures were posted on these threads. In viewing them, I began to have the question Q has requested that we ask: Follow the wives. The caps in some places are mine for emphasis.
Who is Heather Podesta?

According to her Wiki page, she is a lawyer and lobbyist, patron of the arts, and philanthropist. Her law firm is called “Invariant” following the 2014 divorce, when it was called “Heather Podesta and Partners.” The information is very light on her early years and family.
As one might expect, she is and has been involved in a lot of Democrat political activities. At one point she had been a Congressional staffer. She has been named by GQ as one of the “50 Most Powerful People in Washington” and other similar accolades from other quarters.
Podesta is a member of the Board of Trustees of Ford’s Theatre and serves on the Washington D.C. Police Foundation Board.
We know from studying our Q drops that Tony Podesta is an art collector, but it seems she herself is also strongly inclined. [After viewing a number of the pieces of their personal collections, the case can be made that the designation “art” could possibly be debated....but that’s just me.]

we learn of Heather’s involvement as a major health care lobbyist. Clients included Cigna and Health South, insurers, Eli Lily, drug maker, and especially its breast cancer group, Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Prudential, Marathon Oil, and some utility companies were also among her clients.

Tony and Heather married in 2003 with prominent democrats attending: House minority leader Nancy Pelosi, Vermont senator Patrick Leahy, New Mexico governor Bill Richardson. HEATHER WORE A RED SILK DRESS.
ROBERTO DONNA and Kaz Okochi, Japanese sushi chef were the chefs for the reception. If one does a quick check on who Roberto Donna is, as I did, one quickly learns two important things about him:
1. HE IS A PIZZA CHEF
2. HE PLEADED GUILTY IN 2010 FOR EMBEZZLEMENT, AND HIS POPULAR RESTAURANT IS CLOSED.
A glimpse is given in this Washingtonian story of some of the art work the two of them collected. One striking piece seems to have to do with the shoe fetish Tony harbors. It is a young man in profile, facing to the left, as you would look at him. He has a rather large half of a shoe sticking out of his mouth. I’m wondering if this is a rather monumental variation of the “Shush” gesture.
The article does blow by blows of public insults, with the divorce and the dividing of the assets. Then, realizing that they were both destroying the brand they had built together, they reached a private settlement, and said positive things about each other publicly after that,
The famed (or should we say infamous) Tony Podesta 65th Birthday bash was covered heavily in various papers. In this 2009 Washington Examiner story by Palmieri, we learn that TONY CREDITS THE RED THEME PARTY AS BEING HEATHER’S IDEA:
A rather strange statement is included by Palmieri, with respect to guests adhering to the dress code, “UNFORTUNATELY HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES SECRETARY KATHLEEN SEBELIUS DIDN’T GET THE STYLE MEMO: SHE WAS SPOTTED AT THE EVENT IN STRAPPY BLUE PATENT LEATHER HEELS WITH A BAND-AID ABOVE HER RIGHT EYE.”
