I will pray and meditate, thank you. And I will stay true to the Eucharist. I do want the truth. You wrote wisdom.

The Barnett links were pulled. Seems it was beyond the pale to conjecture about someone as special as Billy Graham...but it’s okay to disparage an entire Church because of some evil priests.

Barnett was speaking THREE years ago about secret hierarchys, blood rituals, molestation and murder of children, evil priests, children being shipped in crates, and famous people who are still alive (Nicole Kidman). We here believe involvement of other celebrities on far less “evidence.”

My question is this: does Q think it is too painful to reveal Protestant leaders, but it’s okay to disillusion the Catholics?

My question for this thread: are we pursuing the truth wherever it leads us or just when it’s about Catholicism?

I know Dear Ransom spoke to this a bit and I deeply appreciated it. But I’m troubled the links were removed.

I don’t know why the links were removed. We will have to work together to figure out how to tackle the religion content. Could someone send me the Barnett link? I used to have it but can’t find it. ThankQ

If I may, it seems that believing a story about a celebrity is ‘easier’ due simply to observing their life in the spot light which very often includes abuse of drugs and alcohol. As well as their own body of work and their own words which seem to indicate a very liberal anything goes vibe.

It stands to reason that a story about them seems very plausible.
As for Rev Graham, I will speak only for myself in that reading that at the link yesterday was the first I’d ever read even hinting anything of that nature with him. So it is a bit more challenging to buy the story without more evidence.

When you put up the last words of Rev Graham with the suggestion that he was confessing, that was very egregious on your end. You couldn’t possibly know what was in his heart when you made those statements.
It appears that your desire for it to be true with no supporting evidence is in some way going to ‘even the score’, and take some heat off us Catholics.

As a Catholic myself I am personally grateful that the filth is being exposed. It’s long over due and it hurts my heart for the 1000 victims in PA.
I realize it gives a big opening to the conga line of bashes but seriously, they hardly needed this evidence to start bashing. They always have and always will.

I’d worry less about those talking smack and rather put attention on cleaning up our own house. It’s long over due.
And lastly, let’s not try and harm Rev Graham without evidence simply to have an arrow to hit back with. It’s very unbecoming imho.
