C’mon, Q, let’s have the facts and proof. Will the proof be ecumenical, or is it only good, Catholic hearts that are worth breaking?

Why WOULDN'T folks be more drawn to outrage over the numerically larger numbers of wayward souls in the RCC hierarchy than in those smaller, younger, etc. groups?
If one is going to stake out the highest hill as one's divine right to stardom, then one had best be prepared for the cast of thousands of smaller, younger groups challenging your rights to that highest hill.
It is human nature. Not all that admirable in lots of respects but it is certainly a common aspect of human nature.
These are the times that try men's souls. Parading a thin skin in the face of such conflicts and horrors might only attract more bully's to attack.
We are all sinners either saved by Grace in Christ's blood, or not. We all have to confess, repent, take up our cross and follow Him, regardless.
None of our organizations are lily white. None have only paragon saints in the hierarchies.
The rest of Christendom realizes this and has long realized this. imho, the main reason the RCC folks have such a hard time with the search light of publicity shining on their dark dungeons is that too many have bought far too much and intensely into the delusion that the RCC is equal to God in perfection, purity, authority etc. God is revealing that's not been so and is not so.
The reality-testing mental, emotional and spiritual adjustment is, obviously and no doubt very wrenching. But it must needs happen in order for folks to deal in reality vs delusion.
And that process has been and is true for all Christians who have put too much adoration in their organization and it's leaders whether that's been Benny Hinn, Swaggart of this or that Cardinal and his raft of favorite boys.
Keep in mind vast majority of problems arise from homo priests like Creepy Uncle Ted. People want to label all priests including the truly holy ones, they likely do not actually know any . We just got back from having breakfast in a restaurant which a couple of guys in cassocks. Had fun, had a lot of laughs, because holiness is a great lifestyle.

No, not just good Catholic heartts. Unfortunately, news of non Catholic preying on children will rise to the national level with less frequency, simply because the press won’t consider it as juicy.
My rule of thumb, is if there are children nearby, keep an eye peeled for predation. (Particularly if there is any gayness about!) And if your local church has been turned into a gay club, insanity would be taking ones children there.
