Interesting. It turns out that the wearing of the red “sash” or scarf may not have happened as in the movie....or in the historic West, but my focus really is on Hollywood lately.

THEY are quite familiar with the red sash/scarf symbology. Why wouldn’t they use it to rub it in our faces and accustom us to it?
