Why was the President so driven to fund the military if we were pulling back from Korea and Europe?
IMHO because he can get that money in the military account and use it to build the wall for national security....

Exactly..... and even more than that, SPACE FORCE!!! Didn’t our POTUS say in his inauguration speech that we would be going to the stars???? At a minimum, we MUST protect our satellites!
