This was the first church council and rendered a unanimous decision followed by a Spirit-inspired but brief letter (also penned by James) to the churches.

Acts coincides with many of the New Testament books...that is, the books were written during events describes in Acts. The New Testament isn't linear at all, but very scrambled and interconnected. I guess that makes part of the puzzle fun to unravel.
