I can only go so far down some of these dark roads without getting PTSD. I’ve seen too much in “regular” abuse cases—worked with at-risk children for years. The victims themselves often become predators and the many of the most promising ones are very good at it.
I have seen first-hand the effects of depravity and have no illusions regarding human nature.
