Not guilty.
My grandson loves that show. When he and his sister came over a few weeks ago he logged into his Netflix account and he and I watched, over the week, an entire season.
I’m a big science fiction fan, but this show was painful to watch. To be fair, it was what I notice in a lot of modern TV shows. They are nothing but slick versions 1960’s soap operas. i.e. they string you along.
In one episode, it really did get interesting. A lot of stuff was happening and a breakneck pace and it was cool. Then, as the credits rolled, I said, “I’ll bet that was the last show of the season and they had to wrap it up. Sure enough. ;)
Two things kill these shows for me:
1. They are trying to eat as much time as possible without a lot of plot unfolding. And that is because...
2. They’re making it up as they go along.
I first experienced this phenomenon when my daughter loaned me a DVD box set of the remake of Battlestar Galactica. I got through 3/4 of a season and just got tired of being strung along. I’d rather waste the time reading a book.
Avgeropoulos was booked and released on $50,000 bail,
A man’s bail would be $250,000. So much for equality.
She should be treated like a man in the same circumstances would be treated.
This lady had an argument with her boyfriend and had bail set at $50K. Paul Manafort had his set at $10,000,000.
What is wrong with this picture?
The 100 - story of ‘powerful’ AND super smart women, aka FEMALE fantasy Scifi:
Women able to kill large strong men twice their size consistently, pushing fagotry, able to lead nations, while psychologically weak and stupid men cower doing the women’s bidding and stupid things for stupid reasons. A story where people suffer grievous wounds which often have no apparent effect other than a little blood, while tramatic injuries often are miraculously not fatal. Scenes filmed with as little light as possible. Blood, lots and lots of blood everywhere.
Just to prove how stupid this show is: there are vehicles with fixed belt-fed miniguns on the hood which are never fired no matter how dire the situation; not to mention injecting themselves with black blood, but managing to keep their rose pink skin.
Show includes female decorated Navy SEAL in keeping with the fantasy.
