Likewise, has anyone ever BEEN a teenager who didnt think they were oh-so mature and smart for their age?
The answer is *No* for both questions.
My parents were such idiots when I was a teenager.
When I hit my 20's and started working for a living, it was AMAZING how much they learned in a few short years and how much smarter they became.
I was always a Republican and Conservative for as long as I can remember. I was never a liberal or Democrat.
I grew up in Bristol. It is a shame what the libs have done to the town. All the folks come to the quaint Vermont town and proceed to improve it right out of business and raise taxes so the natives have to move. I keep trying to get my parents to come by me.
While there is no are restrictions to run I would bet he will violate the progressive child labor laws.
So I hope he wins.
“practical progressive ideas”
found in the dictionary under oxymoron.
I was a Democrat prior to 12, but partly to appease or impress my New Dealer grandmother. She was not impressed when I got “woke” and demolished her entire political philosophy before I was out of my teens.
He got 8% in the rat primary. Good for him. At least he has the excuse of youth to be pig ignorant
Sadly though his candidacy was not the silliest thing to happen in VT (not even sillier than a voluntary eunuch WINNING the rat nomination).
But no the Vermont GOP had to outsilly the rats. H. Brooke Paige, a nobody weirdo was the only Republican to run for State AG, Auditor, Sec of State and Treasurer. He easily won the nomination for the House seat and appears to have narrowly won the Senate nomination. So he’s the Republican nominee for every statewide office other than Governor and LT Governor. Vermont law allows this.
Note that there is currently a GOP Governor in Vermont and he’s favored for reelection. Great job running the state party Governor Scott!! What a friggin joke!!!
H Brooke Paige is saying he ran for all those offices to prevent dem incumbents from winning the GOP nominations as write in candidates (Vermont allows fusion voting) as has happened before recently. He says he’ll withdraw if GOP finds other candidates.
If true I did him a disservice
