The worker, who worked for Horizontal Air at Seattle Tacoma Airport for nearly four years according to his Linkedn account operated as a ground service agent and operations agent loading bags.

...worker’s personal blog revealed Russell living in Pierce County with his wife, Hannah who he married in 2011 after meeting her in school the year before. The ground service agent, referred to as ‘Rich’ and ‘Richard’ by air traffic controllers, was born in Key West, Florida and moving to Alaska as a child.

... Russell and Hannah opened a bakery called Hannah Marie’s Bakery in North Bend, Oregon and ran it for three years.

In 2015, the couple relocated to Seattle ‘because we were both so far removed from our families’, Russell wrote.

While living in Seattle, Russell started working for Horizon Air, where he would have been earning circa $13.75 an hour as a baggage handler, writing that he enjoyed being able to travel to Alaska in his spare time. Russel, who was pursuing his bachelor’s degree for social sciences from Washington State University, said he wanted to move up in his company to one day work in a management position.

I’ve watched the video simulation of the plane taxiing and the voice over of the tower. What is so hard to believe about his background story man? Flight controls are not that hard to figure out dude.

Yeah...he must have been a stunt pilot and hid his background from everyone he knew. What a dumb dumb for not using his crazy piloting skills to get a job as an aviator. Nah..couldn’t have possibly been a flight simulator.

The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. He got altitude, pulled and pushed the stick until he crashed in a huge ball of fire.

Really, go watch the video.

You seem to be missing my point altogether. I am not sure of a better way to articulate it. It is not that he couldn’t figure it out. But the Flight Simulator he would be using, doesn’t turn him upside down and throw him forward.

But, you are probably right. I should go get one of those jap sex dolls. After a few weeks with one of those I should be able to have more fun with my wife!

I stopped when I switch to Macs. The stuff for IOS was never as good.

Maybe I should go back to Windows now that I am not doing heavy graphics.

Yep. He was a stunt pilot in disguise. Hid it from the world, just waited for his opportunity to steal a plane and crash into an island.
I recommend a nice long vacation for you. You really do sound a bit insane right now. You believe some far-fetched theory that he couldn’t possibly do that instead of the truth of a lunatic stealing a plane and doing crazy flight maneuverers by pulling and pushing a stick and operation pedals. O.K man, whatever you say...

I'm tending to think he succumbed to a whim and then realized he didn't know how to land properly....if he crashed, it was just to end it without facing consequences...

sorry for the wife and family and friends...

Yep. He had no intention of landing. Did you hear the recordings? He knew he wasn’t going to live through this.

Do you even comprehend what I am writing?

I may sound crazy, but you just keep saying the same stuff over and over. I guess because you saw a simulation then it must be the absolute truth.

Why is it impossible to have a discussion—you know that thing where one person asks something, and then they listen to the response. Think about what was just written, acknowledge it...and so on and so forth.

It was nice writing past you.

I love a conspiracy that was literally live streamed over Twitter. Tower communication and all. But I’m sure it was like MK ULTRA CIA mind control on this poor guy that wanted to end his life in a big bang. Thank God he only took himself out. It cost Alaska some money and SEATAC but at least he had the integrity to go alone.

People don’t realize how vulnerable we really are. Like I said, I (or thousands like me) could EASILY steal a commercial airliner in a matter of minutes. Insider threats are the biggest threats, and you can’t really stop them. You can screen the people you hire and to a certain extend, conduct surveillance. But someone who is determined to do destruction is almost impossible to stop.

Truthfully...NO. I don’t comprehend the non-sense that you are speaking. Yes, you do sound crazy because what you say is CRAZY. You are exposing yourself as a lunatic the more that you post. Keep it up FRiend.

It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt.

Give me a break. NO ONE CAN TAKE A TURBO JET OFF AND FLY LIKE THAT. Wake up!

Fly like what? Do a couple of loops then auger in. It does not take a lot of skill to do that. They have profiles of airplanes very similar to that one available to the public for various flight simulator programs. The people who fly them for a living learn on a simulator first. I live on an airport with two airplanes, many of my neighbors and my brother are professional pilots. It is fine with me that most of the public believes that flying an airplane is some type of black art. It keeps the skies much less crowded. But the truth is that you have no clue what you are talking about.

BINGO! Tip: speak the truth in small doses. Too much too fast goes right over their heads.
THANK YOU! I swear I thought I was in Godlikeproductions for a minute there...

You sound like you have flying training.

I imagine sitting alone in a plane that you just stole—but have never flown—it might be a little unlikely you would be able to do many aerobatic moves like that.

I have been flying for approximately 30 years. I started out hang gliding but moved into powered flight for the convenience. You will have to forgive me if I am not in awe of someones abilities because they did a couple loops before angering in. That does not take a lot of skill, especially if he previously used a flight simulator with the profile of a similar airplane on it.

There could be a little more to the story, but now that this clown has demonstrated that it can be done, some enhancements will made to be made to airport security, but he was an employee who was apparently familiar with the plane, so that will complicate things.
