The worker, who worked for Horizontal Air at Seattle Tacoma Airport for nearly four years according to his Linkedn account operated as a ground service agent and operations agent loading bags.
...workers personal blog revealed Russell living in Pierce County with his wife, Hannah who he married in 2011 after meeting her in school the year before. The ground service agent, referred to as Rich and Richard by air traffic controllers, was born in Key West, Florida and moving to Alaska as a child.
... Russell and Hannah opened a bakery called Hannah Maries Bakery in North Bend, Oregon and ran it for three years.
In 2015, the couple relocated to Seattle because we were both so far removed from our families, Russell wrote.
While living in Seattle, Russell started working for Horizon Air, where he would have been earning circa $13.75 an hour as a baggage handler, writing that he enjoyed being able to travel to Alaska in his spare time. Russel, who was pursuing his bachelors degree for social sciences from Washington State University, said he wanted to move up in his company to one day work in a management position.

Most will say he doesn’t really deserve any kind of tribute, but one was made anyway.

oh my gawd. I did not know that . I must find the PDF. We must put this on FR as a post!!
I haven’t seen anyone suggest that he took some kind of drug or had some mind-altering drug. That might help explain some things.
But I agree with your sentiments - accepting the official story at face value is not recommended. The oligarchy is beginning to censor us for a reason.
I dont know a single pilot that believes he was not trained. He actually said he could land but the would “rough him up” . This is as weird as the las vegas lies we were told.
I don’t believe he was in the plane. I don’t believe there was a pilot in the plane either. I think the flight was controlled remotely, like a drone.
I think it was trailed by the fighters, and I think the plane was used to fish for SAM radar.
I think the plane was scuttled, and I think the SAM battery was neutralized.
Nobody could have flown that plane the way it was without extensive training. It was drone piloted.
That’s my guess as to what happened.
.
The guy was somewhat experienced.
Just not licensed.
There is no reason to believe that particular plane would have drawn out SAMs, more than any other plane.
Just not logical.
You’re right, it’s not only weird but bizarre as well. That’s why I am wondering if someone slipped him some kind of mind altering drug to give him the uncontrolled desire to take a joy ride on a commercial plane.
Unless I missed it, I saw nothing to suggest he had personal or professional problems to the extent he would snap like this.
I just mentioned it because it didn’t look like anyone else was considering it.
Well , good point. There is something VERY wrong with this event. Where is his wife?
To your point, why not use a big predator drone to get the SAM to paint it?
One of the tricky things about SAMs are keeping them dark until a real aerial threat emerges. SAMs are getting smaller and stealthier, easier to hide.
Once you light them up, they can be targeted.
However, if you needed an excuse to scramble fighters to take out a SAM battery INCONUS, you’d need an incident like the one in Seattle.
.
So they sacrificed a 20 million dollar asset?
I think they were seeking a SAM site. I think they needed a plausible reason to scramble two F-16s for an INCONUS mission.
By the way, the jets came from Portland, OR. National Guard.
Why do that when you’ve got a perfectly good Naval Air Base on Whidbey Island?
If you cite ‘posse comitatus’, then I’d say you could use any of the three NG squadrons on the base.
Some kid with minimal training and time on a video game version of a cockpit could not perform the manuevers that plan executed.
I still think it was a drone flight. Getting a plane that looks like an Alaska Airlines flight would not be all that hard either.
It just smells stupid.
.
Fire engines are Red, so they’re Rushin too.
You’re right. All of this is normal. Happens every day. Back to sleep.
RIP “SKY KING”
Richard Russell
