I love dogs. I have a wonderful dog I adore.
Any dog can attack.
However, the pit bulls were bred to attack. Their jaws ...if they attack..are unlike any other dog. Florida is known for breeding them to become what they are today...the genetic predisposition to attack and genetically bred jaws to be especially lethal.

Pit bulls are the most wonderful of dogs, except those that attack. Cannot they be more highly bred to keep their fantastically wonderful qualities, but not the attack mode some have? If anyone has ever had a great pit or pit cross, they know that these dogs are incredibly special.

No, “pit bulls” [as if there were such a thing] were bred to catch and hold livestock to protect the farmers.

Their jaws [bite force actually much lower than GSDs, Dobes and many other dogs] and skull shape were created to enable the dog to still breathe while its mouth was full of raging bull neck.
