We stumbled upon this after we found "Goliath" on Amazon Prime. Just checking to see if there are any other fans of Harry Bosch out there
The gay character is awesome. And there was only like one gay closeness moment. Mostly she is just a good character with more than one note to her. Probably realistic among female cops.
I tried it, didn’t dig it. Not a big fan of the novels, either. I much prefer his Lincoln Lawyer novels.
Wife and I love Bosch!
Visited our son...a homicide captain.
He also likes the show.
But wishes someone would tell him how to carry his weapon and extra mags.
The chief is awesome and knows Bosch is his go to guy. When he says his name it could be either a noun or an adverb.

Yes, read most of the books. Most of the shows run two or three books together.
Feel the same way about Goliath, liked season 1, watched 2 episodes of season 2 and gave up on it.
As for the Americans, I was rooting for them to get caught the entire time and by season 3 realized the writers would never let them get caught. So stopped there.
We think it’s the only show that is worthwhile on Amazon.
Years ago I read the Bosch series and they were equally great. Well acted, good direction and can’t wait for the next season.
