Not to be a downer, but consider the possibility that the DS could easily crack the code all along, but did not mess with the board because there was no need to. As long as Q is fringe/cult/LARP it’s not a serious threat. Why show your hand unnecessarily?
If I were DS, I’d let things ride until it became an “emergency”. The next step I’d take would be disruption and confusion (what we’re seeing now).
Next step would be to replace everything on the board with fake Q drops. (The reason Q tells us to archive everything.)
If that stopped working, I’d go for complete shut down / blackout. (what Q has warned us about as a possibility).
What are the ramifications of DS inserting itself that way? Does it give the public comfor that DS is looking out for the public? LOL. Freedom of speech is a real tough nut to crack. We already have a press and authorized dissent operated by players. What happens when the players try to dominate the message vs. people who hate their guts anyway?

—They actually have messed with the board in the past. Sometimes they just flood it with porn or bring the site down with DDOS. Then there’s countless DS “news articles” claiming Q is fake etc. like it’s a national emergency. All the failed attempts to “Debunk Q” show it’s important to them. They’ve been trying to knock Q offline and out of the spotlight since Oct/Nov. of last year. DS has big investment in shrieking LOOK AWAY! LOOK AWAY!
