Great answer, lgjhn23.

It occurs to me that the whole Q thing is like being invited to a surprise party. If you’re invited and know what’s going on, many things make sense. If you didn’t open the invitation, then the behavior of those who know what’s going on seems odd or inexplicable.

(
Typical Surprise Party: Surprise! You’re old!
Q Surprise Party: Surprise! You’re dead!

Just watched: Coffee with Scott Adams Episode 172: How to Know the Truth about Q

I found this amusing. Scott tells you, if you follow Q that you are smarter than average and that you like to work out puzzles. He then discusses a set of rules to follow to unmask cults, magicians, fraudulent fortune tellers and the like. Instead of taking Scott at face value, do what he tells you to do and apply the rules he gives you. You will come to a different conclusion. This is all like Scott saying “I endorse Hillary because her people will murder me if I don’t.”

What is amusing about it is that he starts off saying Q is not true, e.g. probably does not exist, and then gives you a logic to follow to examine your beliefs.

You can dismiss this simple distraction at the outset because we can all look with our own eyes and see that Q exists. The posts are real and we can read them. Is Q a fake? What doers that mean, even? Is he a LARP? Well this is the greatest live action game on the planets, and its for our country. Of course it’s a LARP, but that doesn’t mean Q is a fake.

He tells us to look at the experts, Well, there are 100,000s of Anons, who are genuine experts in all things computer, digging away at finding facts who.constitute greater experts than say a George Will or a David Brooks, not to mention the @realfrauds in #FakeNews.

So you go through his filters and you find that they don’t lead you to disavowing Q at all.

Then finally, clincher. He argues that he and Jack Probiseic (SP?) and Kurt Schlicter have inside sources that they will never reveal who let them know that Q is fake. Of course previously Scott had told us that the reliance on unnamed inside sources and secret information is one of the indicators that you are dealing with a fraudster.

Amusing game Scott has played. Q is not real and if you follow these steps in thinking about it you will agree with me - or you won’t if you are any good at the puzzle I have set for you here.
