It doesn’t turn.... it just goes straight... as long as it’s is on VERY smooth pavement.

It looks like the handlebars connect to the forks that connect to the linkage at 6:00 on the front wheel. That's the logical place for them to attach, because that's where the gyroscopic forces generated by the front wheel would be strongest.

Looks like it is meant to go back and forth in straight lines, sort of like HD cruisers and chompers like to do.

Those wheels make for some immense centrifugal force. Anyone that has ridden fast on a windy road or race track knows that makes changing direction hard work.
