It appears to work for national power. In fact, Putin’s primary function is to keep Mother Russia from dying, to keep her alive.
As a corollary to my statement, the fact that Putin and Russia are now specifically "pro-Russian" is why the globalist, leftist "deep state" hates them so much.
You can't have a major power, particularly one sitting on the periphery of Europe, who says NO to Western Finance, NO to US dollar dominance, NO to Western Progressivism, says NO to the phony "multiculturalism" and global "liberal democracy."
