I always thought it interesting that she started out as a sort of frumpy looking little girl then blossomed into a real beauty the last couple of seasons.
I read a brief bio of her. She literally hit rock bottom. It does sound like she recovered at least on the surface.

Have to admit to having had a bit of a crush on her in the ‘70s. She was a pretty girl (and still looks great for her age). But then I read about her lifestyle of cocaine, multiple abortions, etc. Very much a case of beauty only being skin deep. Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, indeed.

Jay North, the actor who played Dennis the Menace.
Jay DOB August 3, 1951 = 67 y/o.
In today’s world, Jay looks quite a bit like Jeb Bush as an adult. About 20 years ago, he spoke publicly about the child abuse that was common in the TV studio. He also spoke of his drug and alcohol abuse. Surprisingly, I have not heard from him in a long time. Maybe all of us who knew and cared about Dennis the Menace know enough, and are no longer that interested in hearing more similar tales from that actor.
